30 Second Overview: The Es Trull de Can Palau is a rural Hotel in Ibiza. The Es Trull de Can Palau (“The Oil Mill of Can Palau”) is a 300 year old building that was rescued and renovated in 2007 and offers relaxed days. The hotel is surrounded by fruit trees and almond trees. Behind the hotel the small mountains are a great place to take a mountain bike or hike into the pine covered hills. For a more relaxed pastime you can relax by the swimming pool, from where you can see Ibiza Town and the fortified walls of Dalt Vila. When you stay at The Es Trull de Can Palau you will also have free use of the “BFIT Ibiza Sports Club” a well-equipped gym a few minutes’ drive away.

We suggest you hire a car, not just to get easy access to the gym and Ibiza Town (we’ll tell you the best place to park in the city for free) but to also explore the many fantastic beaches including 2 of our favourites at Ses Salines and Es Cavallet…busy at weekends as the locals take their day off, but a little less busy midweek.. But any day and any time of day then there is always a great atmosphere and the gently shelving crystal clear sea invites you to take a dip and cool you off.

For lunch we think you’ll not struggle to find a better restaurant than El Chringuito at Es Cavallet... beautiful simple wooden beach front restaurant offering simple but perfectly cooked sea food. Ibiza Town offers hundreds of dining options, but if you want a quieter and more relaxed experience then the hotel has its own restaurant where you can indulge in a Mediterranean menu with an extensive wine list to compliment your chosen dish.  

Sunset views over Ibiza Town from the swimming pool terrace are included! You will probably be drawn to Ibiza Town most nights for a choice of restaurants, bars, and boutique shops within the cobbled streets of the Dalt Vila and the port area of this friendly capital city of Ibiza

Double rooms: These large rooms have full air conditioning / heating with living area and either a garden or terrace. Each room has its own style and furnishings but have been designed very much in a traditional way with wooden beams. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, Flat-screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, iPod docking station. Minibar with free water and soft drinks. Suites: The suites are called S’Estany and Es Trull. Each suite is housed in separate buildings. They have large bathrooms with a double bathtub, so big enough for 2, as well as bathrobes and slippers. You will have your own private garden and covered terrace.
