In September you’ll see the Palerm Family harvesting the grapes, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try the product from a previous year’s harvest. Sheep graze in the field directly behind the hotel so you are very much in rural setting.

The small rural Ibiza Hotel that is Sa Vinya Den Palerm is hidden away from any busy roads, tucked away along a gravel track... but within 5 minutes you can be on the main road to the north or south of the Island. Ibiza Town is no more than 20 minutes’ drive in one direction and the tranquillity of the beach resorts in the north can be reached within a 15 minutes’ drive. A hire car is essential to allow you to explore the many delights that Ibiza has to offer. The nearest village is San Miguel which offers a mix of traditional and contemporary bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal alongside the locals.

The 5 bedroom hotel has been in the Palerm family since 1898 and Neus and her family will be on hand to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We suspect she won’t let you leave until you’ve sampled the delightful Sa Vinya Cocktail (which we highly recommend !). Families and couples will feel equally at home. There are limited children’s facilities, but the pool and sheep should help them occupied, as well as those nearby family friendly beaches in the north of Ibiza, about 7 kilometres away.

Ibiza Cycling Holidays - In early and late Summer cyclists and walkers flock to the islands to discover the beautiful island and enjoy the challenging terrain. We can arrange guided cycling tours, with bikes provided. All abilities catered for. Please call us for more details.
