Traditional Rural Ibiza Finca

30 Second Overview:  The Can Guillem Hotel is located close to Santa Gertrudis in Ibiza.

A traditional rural finca on a farmland covering 40,000 square metres and dating back to the early 1800’s. The Can Guillem is a traditional Hotel with many original features which has been beautifully restored. As an agrotourism hotel the Can Guillem is also a working farm with its own extensive orchard of Olive trees.

There are 9 guest rooms in total with 6 double rooms in the main building, with an additional 2 Bugalows and a suite located close to the Finca.

The kidney shape swimming pool has a small garden area and palm trees so makes an ideal base for a lazy day. Night time entertainment is pretty much non-existent. Vincent, the manager, will arrange meals on request, but with so many fantastic restaurants on the island, and many within a 20 minute drive then you’ll have plenty of opportunities to experience the cuisine of Ibiza. We think: The Can Guillem is ideal for couples and groups wanting a traditional and authentic rural Ibiza experience. If you don’t want to be in the middle of a busy holiday resort, and want a hotel with a home from home feel, we highly recommend the Can Guillem Hotel.

Location: The Hotel is close to the main road to Ibiza, and whilst we could just about see it in the distance from an elevated position, we couldn’t hear it. It means easy access to the main road and onwards to Ibiza Town, San Antonio, Playa Den Bossa, as well as the villages and beaches around the island.
Breakfast is included and served on the terrace or inside and will include some of the hotel’s home grown produce including free range eggs from the resident hens.

Rooms:  The double rooms are quite old fashioned, but the bungalows offer a more modern and contemporary style.

Double rooms: Traditionally furnished with dark furniture, wooden ceiling beams and small windows. The rooms are a little on the dark side as there is limited light coming in. But this is an authentic Finca and the small windows keep the room cool in the summer heat - As does the Air Conditioning. All rooms have Flat screen TV’s with satellite channels, minibar, Free Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet).  

Bungalows:  The Bungalows are brick built and located away from the main house, but only about 30 metres away. They are more modern and contemporary. From the outside they look very traditional and on the inside the clean lines and minimalist style, wooden floors and high wooden ceilings makes these rooms perfect for a romantic break. All rooms have Air Conditioning, Flat screen TV’s with satellite channels, minibar, Free Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet).
